Set up call forwarding on Telstra mobile

Before you begin

• Copy the connected PrimaReply number from your dashboard.
• Use the Telstra mobile that receives your business calls.
• Forward unanswered calls, not all calls, if you still want an opportunity to answer personally.

Turn on forwarding when you do not answer

1. Open the Phone app and select the keypad.
2. Enter **61*PRIMAREPLY_NUMBER*11#, replacing PRIMAREPLY_NUMBER with the complete connected number.
3. Press Call or Send.
4. Wait for Telstra to confirm the setting.

Telstra identifies 61 as Call Forward No Answer. Some Telstra services or handsets may require a different voice-service suffix or may expose the same option in the Phone settings. If the network rejects the code, follow Telstra's current mobile forwarding instructions or contact Telstra.

Check the setting

Dial *#61# and press Call. Confirm that the destination is your PrimaReply number.

Verify it safely in PrimaReply

1. Open Settings → PrimaReply coverage.
2. Select Telstra and start the 10-minute forwarding test.
3. Call your business mobile from a different phone.
4. Do not answer it and allow the forwarding delay to finish.
5. Wait for PrimaReply to show Forwarding verified.

The verification call does not send an SMS or create a customer lead. Normal missed-call recovery begins only when you deliberately switch PrimaReply to live mode.

Turn it off

Dial ##61# and press Call to disable No Answer forwarding.

If voicemail answers instead

Telstra MessageBank or Message2Txt may already use conditional forwarding. Review the MessageBank and Message2Txt section in Telstra's official instructions before replacing or restoring those settings.
