About 6 minutes Updated 4 Sept 2026
Before you begin
Configure the assistant name, welcome message, brand colour, and allowed website domains in PrimaReply.
Install the assistant
- Open Settings → Website assistant.
- Add each approved hostname, one per line, and save it.
- Copy the installation script shown in PrimaReply.
- Paste it before the closing
</body>tag on your website. - Publish your website changes.
- Return to PrimaReply and publish the assistant configuration.
Check that it worked
Open the approved website in a private window. Start a fictional enquiry and confirm it appears in the PrimaReply Inbox.
Common problems
- Make sure you entered only the hostname, without
https://or a page path. - Confirm the exact domain is approved.
- Check that your website platform did not remove the script.
- Republish both the website and assistant configuration after changes.
